Vermont Cricket Club Past Players Day

This year's Past Players Day will be on Saturday 3rd February from midday kicking off at the Vermont Reserve clubrooms.

A little different agenda this year with no ground at Vermont Reserve due to the rebuild, so here's how it'll work.

Everyone to meet at Vermont clubrooms from midday onwards where the bar will be open and finger food supplied. Our 1st XI team is playing Heatherdale Cricket Club in a One Day match at our temporary home ground at East Burwood Reserve, so we will have the match live streamed on the big screens at our club plus the races for the first two hours.

We will provide a shuttle bus back & forward to start getting everyone from Vermont to East Burwood from 1.00pm, and the bar at the clubrooms will be closed by 2.45pm where we ask everyone to be at the East Burwood ground to support our 1st XI team for the remainder of the afternoon.

We'll have all the VCC marquees around the ground and there will be our own bar & BBQ set up along with TVs for those who also want to catch some racing throughout the afternoon.

The shuttle bus will then commence to get everyone back to Vermont Reserve after the match to kick on into the night.

Entry is $20.00 per person which gets you 2 free drinks on arrival, finger food at the clubrooms and free transport to & from the match.

2023/24 Season Launch

Vermont Cricket Club will hold the 2023/24 Season Launch on Friday 29th September 2023 at the Clubrooms commencing from 3.30pm.

This is the Friday public holiday prior to the AFL Grand Final.

The Season Launch invitation is for all Junior, Senior & Veterans players and families along with our club sponsors, past players, members & supporters.

Our new club merchandise will be available where all players will receive their new playing shirts. A range of new club merchandise will be available to purchase or pre-order.

The first game of the season is scheduled to kick off on Friday 6th October for Juniors and Saturday 7th October for Juniors/Seniors. More information on the season and what’s happening around the club will be available on the Season Launch day.

There will be a free BBQ and the bar will be open.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the club as we get ready to take on another big season.

VCC 2023 Annual General Meeting

The 2023 AGM will be held at the clubrooms on FRIDAY 16th JUNE commencing 6.30pm.

We aim to have the formalities completed by 7.30pm and will continue on with the bar open and Friday Night Footy on the big screen. We will also get Pizza delivered in for those who are there.

We encourage everyone to attend as we confirm our Committee for 2023/24 as well as updates on the club with a big season ahead on & off the field.
