Noel Jones T20 Challenge Cup
The Noel Jones T20 Challenge Cup is on again with Vermont Cricket Club taking on Vermont Football Club Inc. on Sunday 25th January 2026 at Vermont Reserve.
This event is a great way to support our clubs major sponsor Noel Jones Whitehorse and build awareness around their charity which is Challenge - Supporting Kids with Cancer.
This year will be a different format and a bigger event, with the VCC Ladies taking on the Football/Netball Ladies from VFNC starting at 2.00pm, followed by the VCC Men taking on the VFNC Men in the late arvo/evening under lights.
The day will be on the Sunday of the Australia Day weekend, and being a public holiday the following day, we will kick on into the night with more entertainment.
The T20 Challenge Cup Team Captains will be announced shortly, and they will be selecting their teams.
This will be a great day for all to get along with Cricket, BBQ's, Bars & Entertainment.
A great day for all ages, and both VCC & VFNC welcome everyone to get along for a fantastic day while supporting a good cause as we celebrate Australia Day

CHANGEROOMS & PAVILION UPGRADE
Works have commenced at Vermont Reserve with construction to build new changerooms and some upgrades within the club social rooms.
Portables have been placed for use as temporary changerooms & toilets while the old changerooms get fenced off to be knocked down which will be from mid-August.
There will be minor disruptions to some access around the reserve for most of the upcoming season, however all match day operations and social rooms will be accessible and functioning.
See attached for plans for the upgrade which is expected to be completed and handed over approximately June 2026
